Thanksgiving went much more smoothly this year. I didn't take pictures of the feast but I prepared all the traditional pieces: Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, yams, corn on the cob, stuffing, and apple cider. Justin's mother brought over the dinner rolls and an autumn salad (greens, walnuts, dried cranberries and cheese with a light vingarette). It was all fabulous (in her words, hehee). It was my second year in a row making it all myself (a little help from Justin watching the stove and such).

We have been soo late getting the house together for Christmas. We just have let our closets and boxes get so out of order that we don't know where stuff is anymore. I'm going to get in gear and put up the inside decorations right after writing this. Justin is almost done with the outside lights and just has to finish the tree. I will hopefully be able to send pictures of the house this year soon. The ones I have from last year are just soo blurry. Did I mention I need a better camera, yet?
Can't think of anything else off the tip-top of my head, so I'm done for now. I blame the sexy picture.

My sister has read the books and so I know how it should end but I'm excited for how they end it because it is already drastically different from the books. I love love love -LOVE- the story anyway. It is my Eric fandom against her Bill love. Though we both agree Lafayette is hot stuff.(Sam is sexy too-poor poor Puppy got screwed over again but shape shifting chica) Hence:



I certainly am sad that it will be another year before the new season comes out too. But....I will soon have my favorite sociopath, Dexter, to take up my late nights.

I have been practicing jello/yogurt parfaits for the last few nights. I have gotten pretty good. Next up, to practice lemon tarts and cucumber sandwiches.

It is probably from an old collection but it is just so cute. I got my sister the hello kitty x cream puff phone chain and I got the hello kitty X strawberry cake phone chain. They are just so cute. I have to share!

The one we have deemed the real life chi (chi's sweet home) keeps coming back to visit us. Her royal highness was treated to ham and tuna today...and lots of string.
